In the meanwhile rabble rousers like Varun Gandhi, Abu Azmi and Raj Thackeray will continue to win elections by invoking and stoking the hatred for ‘other’ that resides in the hearts of those who haven’t been able to exorcise the ghosts of partition, Babri and Godhra.
